Meagan and Kyle met for the first time in high school homeroom class, and ended up with a fairytale wedding that rivaled Cinderella and Prince Charming’s big event. With a color palette of blush, gold, ivory, and rose gold, Meagan planned a perfect day that went along with her dream theme: a fairytale come true.
Inspired by her love of Kyle and her handmade invitations that declared, “Right in the middle of ordinary life, love gives you a fairytale,” Meagan and Kyle’s ceremony, which took place on a gorgeous June day, was everything the bride and groom could have dreamed of; and more.
Meagan’s stunning blush pink wedding dress looked absolutely amazing next to Kyle’s sophisticated navy tuxedo. The couple exchanged gifts before the ceremony, and Meagan and her dad shared such a sweet moment after the customary walk down the aisle. The bride and groom said their vows at an absolutely gorgeous church, where sunlight filtered through amazing stained glass windows.
I snapped some intimate bride and groom photos inside the church (where the sunshine bouncing off the bride’s dress created a luminous look that went perfectly with the mood of the day), and some memorable photos of the bridal party at a chic downtown loft. Trees framed the bride, groom, and their families for outdoor photos, and a white brick wall provided a flawless backdrop for pictures of the newly married twosome.
The bridesmaids’ sequin dresses, picked by the bride and flown in from America, looked dazzling next to the Meagan’s flowing and beaded gown. The rose gold shade made the perfect complement next to the blush pink and white of the bouquets.
The reception, held at the Lamplighter Inn, was filled with food, fun, and dancing. Gold and pink decorations created a soft, glowing, and inviting feel, and the menu was custom tailored just for this event. A gold-minted, gilded cake topped off the evening with style, and wedding guests danced to Meagan’s hand-selected music all night long, ending the evening with a bang. Meagan and Kyle’s wedding day was definitely touched by gold, which bodes well for their sparkling future together!
